KOBA Gage Block Sets, Ceramic
 |
Gage block
sets come in wooden cases lined with a special rust preventing paper in both the bottom
and lid. The storage insert is screwed in and can be easily removed for cleaning. Extra
slots provide storage for additional 1mm or 2mm carbide wear protectors. All gage blocks
are available individually. Ceramic
gage blocks
- are not subject to corrosion
- have a bending strength so high (800
N/mm) there is no
danger of breaking during normal use.
- wear similarly to carbide and have a
coefficient of thermal expansion similar to steel (10±1) x 10-6 K-1
